What I built

A desktop app that turns activity from selected GitHub branches into commit classifications and scheduled or on-demand briefs for projects, teams, and repositories.

Engineering decisions

Electron packages the app, with React for the interface and NestJS for the backend. PGlite keeps the database on the user’s computer, where credentials are also stored.

What it enables

Founders and managers can review grouped development activity through generated briefs. The desktop app’s source is public, including the reporting workflow and local storage implementation.
